Chastise MeChastise me, please warn me not to break Your heart, please help me to realize that You have feelings just like I do, Please help me to understand the power of my thoughts, words, actions, and even my intentions, Please deliver me from the legion of excuses by simply telling me to STOP whenever I do something, say something, or think something that's offensive to You, Even if it's the right thing for the wrong reasons, please just tell me to STOP! Please insist that I stay close to You and not wander off anywhere by myself especially in response to the many disappointments of life, Please help me to realize that life isn't about me and it certainly doesn't revolve around me! Please help me to realize that everything I have is a gift from You, including this life that I'm living now, Please remind me that it's not mine to just take and throw away and I will never ever get another one if I throw this one away!
