 Penniluck's legacy

Tears Of Rain

To my great granddaughter Aliesha from her Grammy and especially from her Grandad John. On the day of her funeral, the daffodils did bow down there head, there were huge gusts of winds which made the trees sway and in fact along with intermittent sunshine it even snowed. love you always baby God Bless, Sleep Tight. xxx

Tears of rain came from the sky
Fitting - as we said goodbye,
Daffodils bowed down their heads
As you slept in your last bed

White as snow your innocence
Made our feelings so intense
As you sleep in Christ`s safe arms
Only He will know your charms

Windy gusts took you away
Making all the branches sway
Flowers laid upon damp earth
Remind us of your recent birth

God took you a perfect soul
Because you were a perfect whole
Needed not this sad old earth
Special baby right from birth

You will stay forever young
For an angel you`ve become
Goodbye sweet baby don`t you cry
God will sing your lullaby

Hold you to his tender breast
Within his loving arms you`ll rest
And through time we`ll meet again
Miss you baby until then.
