Many years ago
you gave me a chance
and you opened up your door
so that I could walk through
and honestly get the chance
to get to know you
And for some reason
when I looked
deep into your eyes that day
Something came over me
Because I actually knew
that so many things would be
very different with you
Because you weren't just
an ordinary girl
You were extra ordinary
And you still are today
And that's what
made everything
so special about you
I am glad that I walked through
the door that day
Because you gave me a chance
to get to know you
And all these years later
I am more then thankful
Because you have forever
changed my life in a very special way
