The Moon Is Red
The moon, the moon, the moon is red,
but I'm not filled with fear or dread.
Why should I be? The moon has always been red.
I bath in its bloody light whenever I go to bed.
The people say the moon is actually a grayish-white,
and whenever I hear that said, I think: Yeah, right!
Fools, they're trying to trick me, but I know the truth,
staring at the moon through the telescope on my roof.
But I don't try to tell the people the things I know,
I've got to keep quiet and I've got to stay low.
It's been hard though, ever since the day I came,
'cause when you're an alien, nothing seems the same.
