TWINKLING STAR
Twinkling, twinkling way up in the sky,
Searching for the brightest star with my eyes
Wishing, wishing with all of my heart,
Knowing its just silly but still I can't help but start.
The silly game of searching for the brightest star,
and chanting the rhyme to that starlight up so high.
Knowing in my head that its all in vain,
but hoping in my heart that I can believe in this game.
So looking way up in the great big sky, I begin again --
that silly child rhyming game - Twinkle, twinkle little star.........
