Fifth installment: On the way to the Waterfall
Brave children answering natures call
But how would they know a large catch of
rainbow trout dad had fetched home? Dad
couldn't clean them alone. So when Hannah
said Mom had gone to fetch Dad. She knew
Mom already had, and both were in back
on the cleaning fish pad. Was Hannah feeling
sad, just a tad. Off the children would go
to Cottage Lake Creek. Only Hannah knew they
would not find that they seek. All her excuses
for punishment later would be meek.
Fish were jumping everywhere but Dad or Mom
not found. Not even heard the whizzing of
a casting sound. Birds chirping all around.
It was easy for the children to figure out.
With Mom and Dad not about. Mom and Dad
surely were lost. They must find them at any
cost.Hannah though knew leaving her dice were
tossed. She would have to say later she too
was lost.
