I am not done living yet

(This is a true story)
There is a little old lady
that always seems to appear
at the same store that I go to
right after I get there
She has been doing this
for several years now
and when ever I see her
I always smile at her and I say hello
Through the years
I have grown quite attached
to her and every time that I see her
I compliment her about her hair
because it always looks like
she just left the beauty parlor
Just the other day I saw her again
and I asked her how she had been doing
and she told me that she is still ball room
dancing every weekend
and that she goes to the same place
every time because every one there
knows her by her name
and then she proceeded to tell me
that she has a birthday coming up soon
And I asked her if she
was turning twenty one
because of all the energy
that she has every time I see her
And she replied and said
with a sparkle in her eye
and a smile on her face
that I am going to be eighty six
years old and I am not done living yet
And this was when I asked her
how old she wanted to be
and she said she wanted to
live to be the ripe old age of one hundred
