Burning Tongues
If you're wanting to teach,
Then practice what you preach;
For a tongue on fire,
Shows your true desire.
You have a mature heart,
And now able to start;
Controlling what is flung,
Out and off of your tongue.
The tongue is like a spark,
Being shot in the dark;
That sets a life aflame,
When you're pointing the blame.
Dark shadows it will cast,
A lifetime they will last;
Forever as a curse,
That shall never reverse.
Only the Lord can judge,
So never hold a grudge;
Ensuring as you speak,
Because God will critique.
