I had a really strange dream(fiction)

(I woke up this morning
remembering the bad dream that I had
and I am still trying to
understand the meaning behind it)
I was outside talking to someone
when I noticed that the rain storm that
we had was very damaging
and there was destruction
all around
The tree was uplifted and leaning
to its side next to the fence
and right beside the fence
there was a huge puddle of water
about three to four feet deep
and ten feet wide next to the tree
and this is when I saw
my dog floating right below the surface
her eyes were white and she appeared dead
I was in shock and I reached out and I grabbed her
and I took her out of the water
and this was when I started giving her mouth to mouth
and to my amazement she came around and was revived
But then something really odd started happening
because she started throwing up
what appeared to be meat
and after a closer look
it looked like it was a really long snake
I tried to help her by pulling on it
but it kept getting longer and longer
and it felt like I was in
some kind of a tug of war
between life and death
But after awhile
after giving it a good fight
I was finally able to save her
Because her tail was wagging
and I was smiling and she was
happy to still be around amongst the living
In that very moment
I finally woke up
and realized that I had
a really strange dream
