So far away from home

She suffered for
way to long
by living
so far away
from her children
And now that
they are grown
and out there
on there own
and living so far
away from home
she is going through
empty nest syndrome
Every time
she talks to them
on the telephone
it's just not the same
Because she is left feeling
empty and alone and lonesome
for her children
Because they are
so far away from home
and no longer around
