I am so sorry that you are hurting
in so many ways
If there was any way
that I could take all of
your hurt and sorrow away
I would do what ever I could
and I would try to meet you half way
just to make your day better
then it was yesterday
I also know that if you didn't
fall in love with me like you did
that you wouldn't be
feeling alone and empty
like you are today
And for that I am truly sorry
I know it has nothing
to do with me
because as you know
I have always loved you
unconditionally
And I know way to well that
that there will be times
when things wont be so easy
and all I can do is hold you in my arms
and talk to you and hopefully
I will be able to comfort you
in the only way that I know how
If I would have known back then
when you came here to live with me
that it would have caused you
so much pain and suffering
I think that it would have been
better for the both of us
if we just remained friends
so that you never would
have had to leave your home town
I know I cant turn
back the hands of time
