Things just haven't been
that great today
And I know that
tomorrow will be
a harder day
Because you will be
going away
And I know that it will be
a long time before you
come back to me
so that you can
take care of your family
I just have to say
while you are away
that I am going to
be feeling mighty lonely
without you here with me
I hope you keep
your promise to me
and get everything
taken care of
so that we truly can be
together forever and a day
Because I really do
love you in a very special way
Things just haven't been
that great today
And tomorrow
will be a harder day
