honor thy father and thy mother

i didnt call everyday, i didnt write everyday:
but i loved you everyday i was away:

now that you are both gone i wish i called more on the phone:
i wish i would of came to see you more at home:

we get so caught up and busy in our every day routine about us:
our family who raised us they seem to collect dust:

we all forget that family comes first before friends:
a simple hello we often dont have time to send:

there is no excuse to ignore those who raised you:
love thy father and thy mother stick to them like glue:

the old saying is that a child will not know and understand until they have children of there own:
then they will see how important it is to at least pick up the phone and mostly to visit at home:

you do not appreciate what you had until it is gone:
now my mom and dad are both gone and i think of all i did wrong:

now i wish i would of called more and went to visit at there hoME:
now its too late they are gone and im all alone:

MAKE YOUR PARENTS YOUR PRIORITY:
IF NOT FOR THEM----YOU NEVER WOULD OF CAME TO BE:
