No matter how near or far you may be

No matter how near
or far you may be
You will always be
my falling star
Because you have
already made
so many of my
dreams come true
from all the times that
I was able to spend with you
And as long as I live
I know one thing for sure
and that is that I
will always care about you
And I thank God every day
that you also care about me
Through the years
you have taught me
many things along the way
You have taught me
how to love
when I never thought
that I could ever love again
But you have also
taught me how to forgive
So that I can continue
believing
No matter how near
or far you may be
You will always be
my falling star
Because you have
