I went to Portreath and guess who I found
Don`t think you will, bet you a penny to a pound,
At first I couldn`t believe what I saw
In the window was Bob the Builder for sure.
No jobs could he do the weather was bad
His face in the window looked really quite sad,
I`m sure he`d sooner have been out and about
Rather than being stuck in doing nowt.
I never knew that he lived by the sea
With Lofty, Dizzy and scoop his JCB,
All lying idle waiting for the sun
They just love it when their engines run.
I saw Wendy coming to pay a call
Tucked under her arm she carried a ball,
Maybe she wanted Bob to come and play
As no work was getting done today.
I`m going now Bob but before I do
I wonder can you turn this grey sky to blue?
I know you`re a builder but consider it
I`ll ask you again Bob, `Can You Fix it?`
