This is not your time to go away

Time may seem like
it is standing still
And the skies that you see
may always seem dark to you
Because the world that you
have always known
has been turned inside out
And everything
around you
seems to be falling apart
All you need
is some time
to try and figure out
how you can
possibly mend
your broken heart
So you go to a place
on top of the hill
to listen to the winds
as they whisper to you
so that you can try
to find some peace
and reassurance
And then suddenly the skies light up
and you can see a star
falling down from the darkened sky
And in your mind this is a sign
that you must move forward
and be willing to embrace the light
of a brand new day so that you can
give yourself another try
because this is not your time to go away
