When I get in the mood
for some really good cooking
that reminds me of the way
my mom used to cook
There is only one place
that I like to go to
that can satisfy my appetite
when I get really hungry
It is a small quaint place
where everyone
has a smile on there face
and they call you by name
and they also make you feel
like you are right at home
It's a great place
for conversation
for both the old
and the young alike
and it is not a franchise
it just locally owned
The local diner
reminds me of
the old diners from the past
where the tables are
covered with red and white
colored checkered table cloths
with a candle on top
Honestly it's the only place
that I like to go to
when I am in the mood
for some good old
fashion southern hospitality
and some home made country cooking
