Living on borrowed time

The person right next to you
always thought that they were
better then everyone that they knew
They thought they had all the makings of success
because they had a business of there own
and they had a fantastic income and great home
Every summer they could go
where ever they wanted to on vacation
instead of thinking about there savings
and what may come
On the outside they appeared to have everything
that life could ever offer them
But what no one knew at the time
is that they lost sight of the bigger picture
Because they were actually living on borrowed time
And they would soon be living in a completely different way
then what they were used to
No one knew that all of there credit cards were maxed
and that they were actually falling deeper
and deeper into debt each day
because they never told anyone
Because they wanted bigger and better things
right away instead of taking there time
so that they wouldn't end up where they are today
But because of there foolish ways
they didn't think about the consequences of there actions
Because they were to busy trying to be better then everyone else
when in reality they were no better then the next person
