Hurricane Ike(Enjoy the music video by Peter Paul & Mary-The early morning rain)
Hurricane Ike
Written by D.A.M
September 21, 2008 (4:35pm)
As you all know by now
from watching the news
that Texas was hit hard
by hurricane Ike
and it left a horrible aftermath
in its path of destruction,
Many of my friends in Texas
have lost everything
including all personal
and sentimental things
including there businesses
and homes and there transportation
I am sure you will understand
how catastrophic a hurricane can be
and why so many people are also thankful
that they are still amongst the living
when so many other people have perished.
This has been a rough year for all of us
as have all the years in the past
when it comes to hurricanes
and the storms that follow.
no matter where they may hit
the results are always devastating
My heart felt feelings go out to everyone
because I know that the road ahead
will be a difficult one for each and everyone of you
that has had to go through this type of devastation
Now the road to recovery will be a
long and tedious task of clean up
and then if everyone pitches in
a new path to rebuilding will take time
with the effort of getting things back to normal again
and it can be done with a little extra participation

Bumps in the road (Friendship)
An angel in disguise
You are so much more
The tears of my past could fill a river bed
Some day God will fill a cup full of your tears
Ten seconds was all that I had to make a split decision.
