 I'M AT REST WITH JESUS
Death is nothing but a little rest,
So why do you weep my child,
I'm still in your heart,
For I'm waiting the second coming of
our Lord,
You know we both are living in Christ
keeping,
When he calls only those to him that
are his best,
We'll always be together for we cannot
part,
I may be gone but you are still here and
we are still one,
For he has a place for our reward,
I am just a thought away,
Just beyond those clouds scarcely gone,
But I live in you with brightness to see,
Now I truly know Jesus lives in my soul,
For his golden sunlight shine from within,
Now my heart is made whole,
I'm only gone for a Little while,
Then one day we will meet again,
Now my work here is done this I truly know,
For the master I will see when I awake,
I'll sleep like a baby then homeward I'll go,
Now my dream is complete with love of hid
pleasure I'll take,
Please do not mourn my death and do not grieve,
Now I know the Lord will come for me,
This I truly know,
For soon I will be at my place of rest and I
will lay my burden down.
