A place that you can call home

As long as the good Lord
allows me to stay around
I will make sure
that you always have
a roof over your shoulder
So that you will never
have to worry about
going any where else
to seek shelter
Because I will make sure
that you are never left out
there in the dark and alone
But if by chance that time
does come and it is
my turn to pass on
I promise you that you will
always have a place
that you can call home
