I found myself going back in time
deep within my mind
And I started remembering
the special
moments and the memories
that we shared with each other
When you and I were able to spend
some quality time together
walking through
the forest in the misty rain
down by the bridge next to the stream
And for as long as I live I will
never forget
just how special I felt that day
And if only for a brief moment in time
I never felt happier then I did on that day
Because I felt like I was walking with you in Heaven
(This was written several years ago when I did have someone special in my life, that actually made me want to sing and dance all the time even if it was in the rain.)
