Were living in a world that is constantly changing
as gas and food prices continue rising
and people every where are suffering
Because many of them have lost there jobs
and they are no longer working
and there just one pay check away
from losing everything
We can all plainly see that the
economy is taking a beating
and day by day we keep watching
as our national deficit keeps rising
And because of everything that is going on
people everywhere are having
to change the way that they are living
And now we the people are wondering
how much longer we must keep suffering
and if this world as we know it is truly coming to an ending
All we can do for now is to keep hoping and praying
that things will start changing for the better
so that our way of life can start improving
