I will lead you in the right direction

The journey ahead is a long one
And don't be mistaken for a moment
there will be many lessons
that you will have to learn from
So that you to can truly understand
the lessons that are being taught to you
and the meaning behind each and every one of them
And believe me you will be mislead
and you will be tested and challenged
by your peers and your friends all of the time
And after you have gone through it so many times
you will start to see the patterns and all of the mistakes
that you have already made by choosing the wrong path
And this is when you realize that you don't have to
prove anything to anyone but to yourself
But for a moment a light goes on inside of your mind
and you don't understand
how you can hear the Lord calling out your name
But you can clearly hear him saying
I will lead you in the right direction
all you have to do is follow me
