Pleiades

Pleiades
The eye of day
sees all, by all
diamond faceted
reflecting mind
and voice-by-voice
the global sect
all rest on Atlas'
mighty shoulders.
The eye of night
seen by few
veiled by dust
the seven by one
peg the distance
of a star's leg,
to the daughters
of mother's arms.
What lies hidden
in night's arms
gleams brighter
than day's hope
love, dreams
the eye of night
seen by all
the eye of day, known.
