Lord I know that you are watching over me
Please take my hand today and lead the way
and hold me close to you
I am down on bended knees
And I am praying for you to guide me through the deserts
and through the valleys so that I can find my way
I need your understanding and your loving affection
and your guidance and your direction
and I am asking you with conviction
to help me get through another day
Lord take my hand and guide me away from the darkness
so that I can find the path that you have set before me
