After my Father died he was able to change two peoples lives by being a donor
One person received his eyes and because of that he can see again
Another person was a burn victim and this person received his skin
and was blessed to be able to go back out in public again
My Father used to say that once you are gone that you can still give to others
by doing one final act of kindness
And it wasn't until after he was gone that I found out that he was a donor
And I probably would have never known about it
if I didn't read the letter that I received in the mail
one day thanking my family for his act of kindness
But by doing so I was informed of the miracles that he left behind by donating his body to science
And this took place over eighteen years ago and I still remember that day as if it was yesterday
And when I received the letter it was so difficult to read at first but after thinking about it I was reminded that my Father was never selfish in any way or form in life and in death
And then I realized that by doing what he did even after he was gone
my father
dramatically changed two peoples lives with one final act of kindness
