Since you have been away
I find myself thinking
about you every day
and wishing that you
were right here next to me
But there is a part of me
that cannot continue
waiting much longer
Because I cannot keep
living my life in this way
with you living so far away
Don't get me wrong
I have never once
stopped loving you
And I will always love you
forever and a day
But you have to understand
that the sound of silence
is slowly killing me
And I cannot continue to live
the rest of my life being lonely
Because this isn't the way
that love is supposed to be
by living our lives separately
