Blessed with a Thanksgiving miracle

I got a call on the phone
really early this morning
from my youngest sister



And she proceeded to tell me
that she had a heart attack on Monday
and she had to go into surgery
because if she didn't she would have died



The good Lord blessed her
and gave her a second chance at life
and I am so thankful that she was able to survive



Because things could have
gone the other way
if she hadn't had her surgery



Before she ended her conversation with me
she reminded me that she has a lot to be thankful
on Thanksgiving day

          

Because she looks at life in a completely different way

          

Because she truly was blessed with a Thanksgiving miracle on Monday



And she is more then thankful that she is still here today



And so am I  because we were reunited
for the very first almost two years ago



And I am looking forward to many more years
so that we can continue to grow together
and also get to know each other better



Because it truly was a miracle to be reunited
with my natural family just two years ago



So I have so much to be thankful for too



Because the good Lord blessed me with a miracle
by bringing my family together after being apart for so many years



Happy Thanksgiving little sister
and may God continue to bless you
with his Heavenly miracles

as you always will be
