My heart is bleeding
and it is becoming difficult
for me to hide these feelings
that I have kept  pent up inside of me



I no longer know how to talk to you
and I am afraid that I cannot reach you



Because you have built up a wall



And it is becoming more difficult
for me to get through to you



So I have finally  reached a point
where I don't say anything at all
unless  you want me to



I have loved  you  for so many years now
and I have stood beside you  through everything
and yet I feel like I have been the one
who has been failing



Because I no longer feel
like I am truly loved  by you



You say that you love me

 

And it hurts me to say this



But it doesn't seem to show




You know I have done everything in my power
to be as understanding as I can be



And I have always  treated you with the utmost respect
from the very beginning



Because in return this is the way that I would want to be treated by you



I hope  you realize that I have always loved you unconditionally



But something has happened  between me and you



Hopefully things will get better really soon



So that I no longer have to feel like I do
