Blessed by the Lord to live through another day

I took two steps
back today
to take a good look
around me
Especially with
everything that
is going on
between me and you
And then I put
one foot forward
Knowing that I will be able to
count on the Lord
to get me through the day
So that he can
help me with
these burdens
That I am carrying
over my shoulder
So that I can look
forward to the days
that are ahead of me
To be much brighter
then they are today
I know it wont be easy
Because it never is
But I will get there
eventually
And then I will be able to say
That I have been blessed
by the Lord
To live through another day
