When I met you I knew

When I met you I knew
That I would fall in love with you
But what I didn't know at the time
is that if I ever lost you
that I would never be able to replace you
Because I have never met anyone like you
Who could truly love me as deeply as you do
When I met you I knew that everything would be
really different with you
But at the time I didn't realize
just how different things would be
That's why I have never let these feelings
that I have had for you to just slip away
Because I honestly believe
that the love that we have had for each other
for all these years can truly last forever and a day
