Another year is quickly coming to an end

Another year is quickly
coming to an end
And a new year
is on the horizon
And this is a time for reflection
and also a time for change
Some of us will still be here
to live through another year
And unfortunately
some of us will be gone
But life as we all know it
will continue to go on
Hopefully the new year
will bring many blessings
and peace and joy to everyone
Happy new year
to all of my loved ones
and also to all of my friends
