The vibrant colors of your light

Years ago I woke up from a deep sleep
in the darkness of night
And on that night so long ago
I still remember being
startled and surprised
when I opened my eyes
Because I was able to see
the vibrant colors of your light
as you were sitting at the foot of my bed
And in that moment I knew that it was your
spirit that came back to visit me that night
Many years have
come and gone since then
And as long as I am alive
I will never forget that night
Because that experience that I was able to
share with you literally changed my life
