Sometimes It Just Has To Hurt By: Kelvalyn Arbizu January 21, 2009 Sometimes it just has to hurt before you can see what you're truly worth. Sometimes new beginnings start with good bye and happiness is gained after you cry. Sometimes you have to leave behind the thing that colored your world, that made your heart sing. Sometimes lost love is for the best and dreams just have to be put to rest. Sometimes it just has to hurt... I didn't see what I was worth until the morning after the night we shared-- until AFTER I realized you didn't care-- until AFTER I noticed my anger and pain was useless and therefor, totally in vain-- until AFTER I couldn't love you anymore; but now my broken wings will soar and fly beyond your lovely words, and find the love that I deserve; and I'll be true not only to myself but also to the world, to everyone else. Sometimes it just has to hurt... You never saw what I was worth. You kept me in the palm of your hands and took me through things I couldn't withstand; and I know I did what was right for me because when I left you didn't even fight for me. You didn't even tell me that you'd miss me-- I said it was over and you let that be... Sometimes it just has to hurt. It's sad, you'll never see what I'm worth. So now, our love returns to dirt.
