An Army of the Son
Be strong in grace through Christ,
And do not be enticed;
By what your eyes can view,
In this world around you.
For the things I have said,
Keep you righteous instead;
Of allowing to stray,
Upon the wrong pathway.
Never have any doubt,
While doing without;
Of the comforts in life,
For it causes you strife.
In the army of one,
Commanded by the Son;
You need the discipline,
For giving up your sin.
And as a fighting man,
Keep to the battle plan;
So the commander in chief,
Is pleased by your belief.
Consider what I say,
And as you start to pray;
God will bless with wisdom,
Of things from His Kingdom.
