Pray for Growth in Grace
From the day you first heard,
About the Holy Word;
We kept in prayer for you,
On keeping God in view.
May you have the wisdom,
Coming from His Kingdom;
Received through His Spirit,
In you to inhabit.
A blessing in His sight,
While living upright;
And performing good deeds,
Reaping from fruitful seeds.
Increase knowledge of God,
As you honor and laud;
While living through Christ,
To stop being enticed.
Great power full of strength,
Exceeding any length;
Through glory of the Lord,
Being of one accord.
You can always destroy,
Any troubles with joy;
Through the Father and Son,
His Spirit three in one.
