If I could take all of your blues away
I would do what ever I needed to do
To comfort you in every possible way
Just so that I could make you happy
So that you would no longer have to feel
Sad and lonely like you do every day
Because I would take away the emptiness
And the sadness that you feel every day
And I would replace it with happiness and joy
