You may wonder why I have stood beside you

You may wonder why I have stood beside you
through all these years like I have



When I could have moved on
after everything that we have gone through



And the reason that I have stood beside you
for as long as I have is because I love you



Because you have always been
dedicated and true
and for that reason alone
I have grown to appreciate you



And sure there are days that are
much harder then others
especially now that you and I are getting older



But some how we have always been able to
get through the hurdles together



Because we have never once given up



Because we have always believed in each other



And that is the main reason
that I have stood beside you
for all these years




Because I could never replace you



And honestly I would never want to



Because you complete me
in more ways
then you will ever know
