To climb above it all

Some times reality
can be cruel
But we must continue
to stay focused
so that we do not fall
Because we do
have the ability
To acquire an enormous
amount of inner strength
to find a place within us
to climb above it all
Some times we must
take two steps back
Before we can take
two steps forward
And some times
we will fall
But we must get back up again
with the determination
and the persistence to know
that we can climb above it all
Because we are
the creators
of our own destiny
And we can make
all of our
dreams a reality
Because we didn't
allow
our own reality
To take its toll
on our ability
to climb above it all
