No Sting
I give you a revelation,
For you to have jubilation;
Of in the future it shall be,
That the Word of God does decree.
Not all will have a deathly sleep,
That the grave be able to reap;
Even though it just might seem strange,
We will experience a change.
On our death bed as we lie,
From a second shutting the eye;
The sounding of the final horn,
Announces that you are reborn.
For at that sound the dead will rise,
Just as the Scriptures do advise;
Free from death that would have a sting,
Only darkness that others cling.
Since this body would be destroyed,
A new one then would be employed;
As our new life would begin.
With being free of any sin.
So be strong in purpose and goal,
That God will remain in control;
And continue to walk with God,
While giving honor and laud.
