Why Me

Why Me?

For the unborn...

why me? i meant you no harm.
why are you denying me my chance
to see the universe . . . ?
its ugliness, its beauty.
you take away MY choice
to follow my own life's destiny!

you conceived me in lust and passion.
now you don't even want me to be born!

you said it is your choice.
Your decision to be made.

is all your choices . . .
within the womb.

did i ask to be there?
it was your decision to make.

your choice indeed!

whatever your decision, be, with me
i'll accept my fate.

to be or not to be?

i will never blame you.

if that's what you want
get rid of me ~ destroy me.
deny me my chance!

from conception 'til today
I am a creation, breathing and alive.
why, is it my fault?

not so,
there is a sad story untold.

when you satisfied your wants
was it my choice to be who i am?

it was your choice,
the act you play
you didnt care . . . .
come what may

my heart beats like yours.
my blood runs from my head to my toes.
i am alive, i have feelings like you,
i am a human being!

pity for those who died before their time
they never had the chance, to feel, to be young,
to cry when sad, to laugh when happy.

never to have the chance to listen ~
to the masterpieces of the great BEE!

happy are those who were not a choice.
they have the chances to taste their mother's milk
to feel her ~ hug them snugly . . .
to have her put them to slumber.

sweet lullabies hummed softly!

i pray that you soon realize ~
my life is precious

I am the miracle of creation.
i am the fruit of your nation.
i am your hope.

I am your future leader.
The one, that could possibley
save you from yourselves.

please listen to my silent plea
asking for your compassion and pity.
let me live to see the sun and the moon,
to witness the 'angel on earth's roses bloom'!

at least give me a name
so the wind can whisper when i'm gone.

bury me and place a marker

'here lies the unwanted me'
who became another number
but yet had much to offer.

please spare me a little space among you.
i'm the smallest, the tiniest, and the weakest.
please somebody please stand-up for my right to exist
give me a chance to be born and live!

Rey my friend

I honestly do not know
how to continue my part
of this collaboration

I was taken so off-gurad as
your lines unfolded before me
on blank posting page
with such intensity

I am sure everyone that is now
reading will feel the same power
of impact that your words have
brought to me

How could I possibly give a
stronger voice to the embryo
THE LIFE
that begs to have birth than
you have already placed here

Instead of the norm I will try
to continue this collaboration by
placing the words I would have
written the area where we normally
place our Author's Comments

Rey and myself understand the decision of
abortion is not always as cut and dried
as the voice he has given this child

Hopelessness . . . Not knowing
what the future holds . . . just plain fear
we know that most times does play a roll in
the Mother's decision to abort

Not all just wake up one morning to say
"I guess I need to go and have an abortion today"

There are many sides to this sad story of
pros and cons but in the meantime,
while we decide
on whichever side of the coin to stand . . .
there are lives being taken
that perhaps . . . just perhaps
could be the hope for our future

Instead of blowing up abortion clinics
taking lives to protect life . . . ?

(I have never understood, nor will I
ever understand)

We need to find our knees in prayer

If we are the Mother or the parents
we need to consider all of the
alternatives available should we find
ourselves within this controversy
for whatever reason we may find
ourselves there

We ask that each take a deep look into
our souls if such a decision such as this
ever has to be made or more importantly still
please take the precautions that would render
this sort of decision something of our past

Something that could one day
be noted in the history books of humanity,
to be read by our future generations as . . .

At one time . . . . abortiion was . . .

With the possible exception of rape in this
day and age there is really no excuse for
an unwanted pregnancy

There are many, many, ways of prevention
readily available to everyone, both male
and female

This is all we ask from anyone that may be
trying to make such a decision or will face
this difficult choice in the future

Consider sincerely all your options
Weigh carefully all the pros and cons of
the action you decide to take

Can a life truly be considered a pro or a con?
Both sides of this issue need to revaluate
their reasoning

There are so many good Christian homes that
are praying for the life that you could so
easily put an end

To be or not to be?

There is now the distinct possibility
that a law will soon be passed that
abortions can be done as late
as six months into the Mother's
pregnancy

A sonigram would show the sex of the
baby at this point of development

Perhaps for medical reasons for the life
of the Mother or the quality of life for
the child growing within the womb
there is a just reason for the unborn
life to be taken but even then for myself
it would take much praying

We hold a precious gift within our hands
Entrusted to us by the creator of our
universe. We hold the future of our world

Please raise your voice and think long
and hard before you act.

Peace and love!
