A Pirate's Fate

Jingling  bobbles, tiny silver bells,
white silky satin, shinny  golden
combs in her long raven hair.
Capacious dark eyes
with there hypnotic stare.

Swaying slowly back and forth,
with an inviting motion.
She slowly danced around,
and around, like the waves
of a mighty ocean.

I tried to take her for my own,
but a rum drunken mate shoved
me aside, and this I could not abide.

Whisky and fire did collide,
and I drew the pistol from my side,
but a second too late.

Now I lay mortally wounded,
on this isle at the end of the world.

I shall remain here for eternity, dreaming
of that raven hair maiden with bobbles,
bells, inviting dark eyes and untold beauty.
