The emptiness that I feel

The emptiness that I feel is so very real



And I wouldn't wish these feelings on anyone




Because no one ever deserves to be alone



Yet every day when I wake up I am on my own



And every night when I go to sleep



I fall asleep feeling very lonesome



But some how I find the inner strength to hold on



Because I still believe when you truly love someone



That it is the kind of love that is meant to last a life time
