On a summers breeze

On a summers breeze one summers eve
I could hear whispers of all that had been
each gust of air that floated there
spoke volumes of all it had seen.
One gust of air that blew my hair
spoke of mountains and valleys so wide
with snow capped tops like lolly pops
where eagles on thermals would glide.
Another gust… spoke of journeys must
to the oceans so very deep and blue
and swim to your joy every girl and each boy
cause its the greatest thing you can do.
On another breeze I began to see
such wonders that I looked on in awe
each burning bright… each creating light
over everything that had ever gone… before.
Then I knew this breeze was meant for me
for the pictures and sounds were all mine
of the joy I've seen and dared to dream
on this journey that's still undefined.
