Lately I have been lost

Lately I have been lost
In a sea of sadness
And I keep searching
for a beacon of light
To shine down on me
So that it can help me
Find my way
Out of the darkness
So that I wont drown
in my own sadness
And it is often in
times just like this
That the good Lords
encouraging words
come into my mind
Reminding me
That this to shall pass
