There is always something

There is always something



That makes me wonder




If I am going to sink or swim



Especially with everything
that is going on



Because it seems like
every time I turn around



Something else happens



And I end up being  
back on my own



And this is when I must gather
all the inner strength that I can



So that I can prepare myself
to get through the duration
of another long drawn out storm
of having to spend my days alone
