From the moment that
you would wake up
Until you closed your eyes
and finally fell asleep
I could always see the hurt
deep within your eyes
And then I would
see you weep
And I began to realize
just how hard
it has been for you
Having to deal with so much
sorrow every day
By being so far away
from your family
Because I have seen
what it has done to you
and how it makes you feel
And I reached a point
when I felt so helpless
Because I really didn't
know how to help you
And all I could do
was to try and comfort you
when ever you needed me to
I just hope that you can heal some day
so that you no longer have to feel this way
Because I will always care about you
