Exhort to Repent
Return unto the Lord your God,
Faithfully give honor and laud;
Iniquities caused you to fall,
Separating you from His Law.
Take unto you His Holy Word,
Allowing your heart to be stirred;
Repent to Him while you pray,
Asking forgiveness whence you stray.
So you may then take what is good,
Giving in pavement as you should;
The fruit of your lips to impart,
As it resonates from the heart.
Earthly joy is not salvation,
Soon there will be revelation;
Then Christ will come see in your hands,
How much you obeyed His commands.
Even though we are defiled,
Love and mercy to the child;
To the one without a Father,
Or having a Brother neither.
Keep lit the light of the Spirit,
To be able to inherit;
The life waiting beyond this one,
Living with the Father and Son.
