These empty feelings that I have been
going through  lately
have really gotten the best of me



And I have really been struggling
emotionally
just to get through each day




And I keep thinking about
the way that things used to be



Yet time keeps slipping by

 

And I don't know
how much longer

 

I can continue to live
my life in this way



Because what we have both been
going through has not been healthy
for either one of us



Especially by living so far away




I just wish that things
could have turned out differently
and would have had a better outcome



Because I really would have loved you
